Tutor for Algebra 2
Please help your Algebra 2 student by getting the help they need before you think they need it. If their grade in Algebra 1 was below a B, chances are they will need a tutor for Algebra 2.
Have you heard that algebra is the most failed class in high school?

I can believe it.

Several years ago, I was speaking with the daughter of the lady that ran the preschool program where my son was enrolled. She was going to babysit for my son. Naturally, I asked her about her math class (being a high school math teacher at another school). At that time she was taking Algebra 2 as a 10th grader. As I recall, her observation was that the older students seemed to have become less smart. I mentioned that what she was observing was that the students who were less prepared for high school math were in her class along with the other 10th graders. Some of these seniors are retaking Algebra 2 inorder to earn their high school diploma. To add to this challenge some of these seniors are also enrolled in another math class while retaking Algebra 2. Please don't let this happen to your student.

Did you know that College Algebra is very similiar to high school Algebra 2? If your student does not place high enough in their placement into their college math classes, you will be paying (or they will be paying) for a College Algebra class when the high school Algebra 2 class would have been free. Many programs in college will require at a minimum College Algebra. This makes getting a tutor for Algebra 2 a wise choice when you consider the alternative.
